Who we are

Euro Plant Finder is an independent buying agent for used construction and agricultural machinery, run by Rob McNinch. For any privacy question, contact rob@europlantfinder.co.uk.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry form we collect the details you provide — your name, email, phone (if given), country, the machinery you are looking for and your timescale — so that we can respond to your enquiry. We also collect anonymous usage data (pages visited, approximate location, device type) through analytics cookies, according to your consent choice or the default that applies where you are (see Cookies below).

Why we use it (legal basis)

We use your enquiry details to reply to you and provide our sourcing service (legitimate interest / steps to enter a contract). We use analytics and advertising cookies with your consent where the law requires it, and otherwise on the basis of our legitimate interest in measuring how the site and our advertising perform — with a clear option to decline in every case.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep the site working and are always on. Analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics and Google Ads) are handled according to where you are browsing from. If you are in the UK, the European Economic Area or Switzerland — or anywhere we have not listed below — they are off by default and only set if you click “Accept” on our cookie banner. In Canada, the USA, Australia, New Zealand and the Gulf states (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman) they are on by default unless you click “Decline” on the banner. Google works out which applies from the country your connection comes from (country level only, nothing more precise). Your Accept or Decline choice is remembered in your browser; you can change it at any time by clearing this site’s data, and declining does not affect your ability to use the site or send an enquiry.

Who we share it with

We use trusted third-party providers to run the site and handle enquiries — including website hosting, our enquiry/workflow and CRM tools, and Google (Analytics, and Google Ads where applicable). These providers process data on our behalf. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to provide our service and meet legal obligations, then delete them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR you can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, or object to its use. Email rob@europlantfinder.co.uk and we will respond.
