Your buying agent for used UK & European machinery.
Tell us what you need — or send us a machine you've already found. We represent you with the seller, negotiate on your side and manage the process from the UK or Europe through to delivery.
What are you sourcing?
Can't find the used machine you need locally? The principle is the same in both sectors: we search the UK and European market for the make, model and specification you're after, represent you with the seller, physically inspect if required, negotiate on your side and coordinate the process through to delivery. Choose your world and we'll speak your language.
Construction machinery
Excavators, loaders, dozers, dumpers, telehandlers, rollers, crushers and attachments — sourced ready to work.
Explore construction sourcing →Agricultural machinery
Tractors, combines, balers, sprayers, drills, telehandlers and forage kit — honest machines, seen in person.
Explore agricultural sourcing →Buying abroad is easy until something goes wrong.
The machine may be hundreds or thousands of miles away. You may not know the seller. Photos and listings only tell you so much. Then there is negotiation, payment, transport, shipping, customs and the requirements at your end. Euro Plant Finder gives you one person on your side to manage the chain.
No way to trust the seller
You can't tell honest from scammer from the other side of the world. We verify them before you commit a penny.
Machine evidence and inspection
We gather the information needed to assess serious candidates. If a physical inspection is worthwhile, we arrange it and agree the cost with you first.
Managed complexity
We coordinate the appropriate transport, freight, customs and destination specialists so you do not have to manage the chain alone.
One point of contact. One managed process.
Tell us what you need — or send us the machine you've found. We search, investigate, negotiate and coordinate the process. No purchase, no sourcing fee.
Tell us what you need
Type, spec, year, hours, budget. A rough idea is plenty to start.
We search the market
Dealers, auctions and private sellers across the UK and Europe.
We shortlist honestly
Straight assessments. We've no machine to push on you.
We verify the seller
Due diligence before you commit time or money.
Check the serious candidates
We verify the seller, gather the machine evidence you need and arrange a physical inspection where you want it or where the risk justifies it.
Negotiate and manage the onward chain
We negotiate on your side and coordinate the specialist companies needed to move the machine from seller to buyer.
Buyer-side only. Practical representation. One person accountable.
We hold no stock and take no seller commission. We can use established dealer relationships without being paid by them, and we stay responsible for keeping the buyer-side transaction moving.

Need several machines?
We can source from different sellers and coordinate consolidation or combined shipping where practical. The right transport method depends on the machines, route and economics.
On the buyer's side — no inventory, nothing from sellers.
We arrange it and agree the cost first, where it's wanted or the risk justifies it.
Search, verify, negotiate, coordinate delivery — one point of contact.
Buying from Europe for your market.
Whether Europe makes sense depends on the machine, route and local market. Explore the countries we currently support, then tell us what you need.
New Zealand
We handle MPI's biosecurity rules — cleaning, documentation and certification — on every machine we source from the UK and Europe, from hill-country tractors to forestry kit built for steep terrain, with Customs duty and GST confirmed upfront through Trade Single Window.
Australia
We handle DAFF's biosecurity rules — cleaning, certification and compliance — on every machine we source from the UK and Europe, from cropping gear to mine-spec plant. Duty depends on the machine — much of what we source enters Australia at nil duty whatever country it was built in, and where duty does apply the UK trade agreement only helps if that machine was genuinely built in Britain.
United States
We check EPA engine eligibility on every machine before we source it — without a US EPA label a used machine cannot enter for use — then prepare the USDA/APHIS clean-and-dry paperwork and coordinate clearance with your US broker, whether it's for spring planting or the autumn harvest run.
Canada
We handle CFIA cleanliness checks and coordinate CBSA clearance on every machine we source from the UK and Europe — from prairie tractors to resource-sector plant. Most farm and earthmoving machinery already enters Canada at zero duty, whatever country it was built in.
Finland
Finland is a joint business with Juha Sade, who looks after Finnish customers from Finland, in Finnish. Machinery from elsewhere in the EU moves freely; machinery from the UK clears through Tulli with an EORI number, import VAT (reported on the buyer's VAT return) and, for agricultural machinery, a plant-health certificate.
Sweden
Machinery from elsewhere in the EU moves freely into Sweden; machinery from the UK goes through full customs clearance with Tullverket, an EORI number, import VAT and conformity checks — all handled from this end.
Republic of Ireland
Machinery from elsewhere in the EU moves freely into Ireland; machinery from Great Britain clears through Irish Revenue with an EORI number, duty (usually nil) and VAT under Postponed Accounting confirmed upfront.
Northern Ireland
Machinery from the EU moves into Northern Ireland with no customs step; machinery from Great Britain moves under the Windsor Framework's internal market arrangements, using the free Trader Support Service (the buyer or dealer needs UK Internal Market Scheme authorisation) — set up from this end either way.
United Arab Emirates
No Australia-style biosecurity regime, though Gulf plant-quarantine law bans importing soil, so every machine ships cleaned and photographed. We prepare the export documentation and coordinate clearance with your UAE broker. Since February 2026 the Strait of Hormuz has been largely closed: machines currently arrive via Fujairah or Khorfakkan and bonded road — allow 10–12 weeks door to door.
Saudi Arabia
SASO/SABER conformity certification through the Heavy Equipment Regulatory Center is required on import, and age limits apply — we confirm compliance and manage export documentation on every machine we source from the UK and Europe.

You deal with Rob — not a call centre.

Simple fee. Transparent transaction.
Euro Plant Finder charges a fixed sourcing fee agreed with you in advance. No purchase, no sourcing fee. Inspection and travel are separate where authorised. You pay the seller and third-party providers directly, and EPF does not add hidden mark-ups to those third-party costs.
Have a specialist machine to sell?
The right buyer may be in another country. If a machine is unusual, niche or difficult to sell in its current market, we can investigate where overseas demand may be stronger and help you reach the appropriate dealer or end user.
Need a machine — or already found one?
Tell us what you are looking for and where it needs to go. An exact specification is useful, but a rough requirement is enough to start.
We aim to respond within one working day.
